JOB ROLE: Data Tagging Executive

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Parallel Dots is looking for a Data Tagging Executive to join our team. The primary responsibility of the Data Tagging Executive will be to accurately tag and categorize large amounts of data according to predefined criteria. This is a critical role that requires a keen eye for detail, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurately tag and categorize large amounts of data according to predefined criteria.
  • Use various tools and software to perform data tagging and labeling tasks.
  • Ensure the accuracy and completeness of tagged data by performing quality checks.
  • Collaborate with team members and project managers to ensure timely delivery of projects.
  • Provide regular updates on project status and progress.
  • Identify and escalate issues related to data quality, project delays, or other challenges that may arise during the tagging process.
  • Continuously improve the quality of data tagging by identifying opportunities to optimize and automate the tagging process.
    • Effectively delivering 100% Accuracy of the work- Processed data should be 100% accurate.
    • Achieving the target – To deliver or meet the required SLA of the project.
    • Responsive – To communicate effectively with the Team Leads, as and when required to.
    • Diligence and sincerity – meeting the client deliverables on time without fail will be an important qualifier.
    • Ownership & Accountability – candidate to take accountability for the quality and success of both the output and outcomes of their work.

Education Required:

    • Should be Graduate/Appearing Graduation

Skills Required:

  1. Attention to detail: Data tagging requires a high level of accuracy and attention to detail to ensure the data is tagged and categorized correctly.

  2. Analytical skills: Data tagging involves analyzing data and making decisions based on specific criteria. Therefore, the data tagging executive should have strong analytical skills.

  3. Knowledge of data annotation tools: The data tagging executive should have experience using data annotation tools such as Amazon Mechanical Turk, Labelbox, or Prodigy.

  4. Time management skills: Data tagging involves working under tight deadlines, so the data tagging executive should have strong time management skills to deliver projects on time.

  5. Quality control: The data tagging executive should have experience performing quality checks to ensure the accuracy and completeness of the tagged data.

  6. Communication and collaboration: The data tagging executive should be able to work effectively in a team, communicate project status and progress to project managers, and escalate any issues that arise during the tagging process.

  7. Continuous improvement: The data tagging executive should be committed to improving the quality of data tagging and identifying opportunities to optimize and automate the tagging process.
