NCC India manage OTN/MPLS/SYNC platform on India Footprint. NCCI also manage Subsea infrastructure around India and MPLS POP’s each in Pakistan & Srilanka We need a technically sound technician on IP and Transmission platform to ensure 100% Network availability and performance. This done to met the agreed SLA’s with our end customers and avoid penalities(Loss of revenues) from customer.

What you will do
- Maintenance, troubleshooting, configuration change and monitoring routers and switches of core BT India MPLS network.
Maintenance, troubleshooting of BT Global transmission network.
Monitoring SSU devices and maintain synchronization hierarchies in the network.
Troubleshoot and fix Link Down, Link flapping, Packet Drops and latency issues of Customer MPLS Circuits on a Reactive basis.
Handling different customer tasks/tickets for different BGP related issues such as BGP down, peering issues, prefix exceed, routing issues, routing flaps etc.
Ensuring that all customer and network faults are repaired by the third-party operators within the Service Level Agreements (SLA’s).
To prepare and implement network changes during the allowed working time window in support of new services, configuration changes, hardware changes or software changes (i.e., Service Card/Line card Install/de-install) and network expansion.
Authorizing Third Party Notifications from worldwide BT Clients (carriers) for emergency planned work related to BT Network, creating Impact Assessments for Planned work.
Prepare and maintain process documents for each of the projects which can help the new joiners to understand the workflow.
