What you will do
- Responsibilities:· Addressing user tickets for issues regarding hardware, software, and networking.· Assisting customers through installing applications and computer peripherals.· Providing technical support through remote-access.· Providing IT networks and customer services to users inside and outside the company.· Guide users with step-by-step instructions to resolve the issues.· Customising the desktop applications as per the needs of users and clients.· Advising on software and hardware upgrades.· Maintaining a log of job tickets and maintenance tasks.· Send the unresolved issues to the next level of the support team.· Ensuring that the client server systems are working fine.· Creating technical reports and manuals.· Keep up with current breakthroughs in computing technology and research its reviews
Education Required:
Requirements:
- Minimum 2-3 years’ experience as Desktop engineer.
skills
- Proven work experience as a desktop support engineer or support technician.
- Advanced knowledge of computer hardware systems, chipsets, memory modules, and peripherals.
- Knowledge of popular operating systems, software applications, and remote connection systems.
- Ability to solve complex hardware and software issues.
- Working knowledge on O365, GSuite mailing applications.
- Knowledge of security solutions like Active Directory, Antivirus, DLP, Zscaler Proxy services.
- In depth knowledge in Zoom, Slack and video conferencing solutions.
- Experience in working with firewalls
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
