PROGRAM :Ernst & Young Techathon 3.0

Location -ONLINE

TRAINING DESCRIPTION:

      • Welcome to the 3rd edition of the EY Techathon, your opportunity to build a better world in the Metaverse.

      • Use technology and your imagination to solve any one of the three real-world challenges

      • Participants will get a chance to use cutting-edge technology and interact with EY leadership and industry veterans.

      • College students from every discipline, across the country can participate in this technology challenge. 

      • Winners will get a chance to win exciting cash prizes and internship opportunities at EY.

      • Registration: Participants will submit their interest in the challenge along with details of their team members and the problem statement(s) they are looking to solve.
      • Submissions: Participants will make a detailed submission on their ideas, explaining the scope of the problem they are solving, how they will apply technology, the solution models and why their idea is innovative.
      • Semi-final presentation to EY Leadership: Shortlisted participants will present their solution models in this round to a jury panel comprising EY leaders. Based on this round, finalists will be announced. 
      • Grand Finale:  The Metaverse use cases will be presented by the finalists to a jury comprising industry leaders in the grand finale and the winners will be announced. 
      •  

Education Required:

    • he participant(s) should be an Indian citizen, residing in India only and above 18 years of age on the date of the participation.
    • The participant(s) should be students currently enrolled in a degree/diploma course (part-time or full-time) from any discipline in any college based out of India.
    • The participant(s) can participate either in their individual capacity or as a team with team size not exceeding 4 members.
    • Team formation guidelines:
      • A team can have no more than 4 members
      • The participants can be from any specialization
      • Cross-year teams are allowed
      • Cross-college teams are not allowed
      • One participant cannot be a member of more than one team
      • Bonus points for diversity in teaming

PRIZES:

        • Winners get cash prizes!

          • First position: INR 3,00,000
          • Second position: INR 2,00,000

          Select participants will also have the opportunity to intern in EY.

JOB ROLE: Advanced Analyst

Location - BANGALORE(PARTIAL WORK FROM HOME)

JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • The selected candidates will work on several client accounts/ engagements, where they will be involved in delivering all service management aspects of multi- national engagement.

     

    Your key responsibilities
    Operational Support and Reporting:

    Work closely with a Senior to provide day to day engagement management support for client (s)
    Support client teams in Americas, EMEIA and APAC in providing timely and accurate information of the engagement to the client headquarters
    Provide situational analysis and solutions for mitigating issues & risks in an engagement
    Effectively liaise with EY professionals preparing the fillings in countries & client teams
    Understand the functioning of the engagement tools and usage involved in global service delivery
    Ensure engagement management tools are maintained real time for client headquarters to access and understand tax and accounts filling status across the globe
    Modify tools to reflect status of the engagement real time by working with the local country teams
    Understand queries from client facing teams and work with local EY professionals for solutions
    Project Coordination & Control:

    Monitor and control activities leading up to fulfilment of compliance and reporting obligations of the of practices across countries
    Monitor engagement status, issues and potential risks that can impact engagement
    Work with global teams to understand the status of the filings for client(s)
    Understand processes and dependencies in meeting obligations of the filings in countries
    Provide engagement status on a periodic basis highlighting risks and issues and achievements

Education Required:

  • 0 to 2 years of total work experience 
  • Bachelors or Master’s degree, preferably Finance, Commerce, Math, Computer Science or Business Management

Skills Required:

      • You will need to Have excellent communication skills – both written and oral
      • You will need to Demonstrate strong organizational skills and structured thinking abilities 
      • You will need to Demonstrate strong interpersonal and analytical skills 
      • You will need to Demonstrate an eye for detail 
      • You will need to Be flexible and willing to adjust responsibilities to align with developing business needs 
      • You will need to Be proficient in Word/PowerPoint/Excel – working knowledge of MS office

SALARY:41,000 per month expected
