JOB DESCRIPTION:
As a B.Tech Graduate Engineer, the following are the Roles and Responsibilities: You are going to Understand project requirements and complete all duties assigned by the Supervisor.
You’re able to Shadow senior staff members, ask questions, and assist wherever possible.
You will be Raising concerns and making suggestions for improvement where appropriate.
You have to conduct research and travel to sites.
You will Observe health and safety regulations at all times.
You have to Participate in meetings and attend workshops and other training initiatives.
You are going to Analyze data and write reports according to specifications.
You have to Take notes and share your findings with your Supervisor and other relevant stakeholders.
You will Establish professional relationships with staff.
You have to maintain a high degree of professionalism and diligence.
As an M.tech Post Graduate Engineer, the following are the Roles and Responsibilities:
You are Completing all assigned tasks and assisting with day-to-day operations.
You will be Participating in meetings, workshops, and other learning opportunities.
You have to Observe and learn from experienced staff members.
You have to Gain knowledge of company policies, protocols, and processes.
Taking detailed notes and liaising with Managers, Supervisors, and other senior staff.
You are Fulfilling any requirements and meeting goals set out at the start of the traineeship.
You will follow all company regulations, and health and safety codes.
Develop and implement data analytics methodologies to assist in problem solving and in making forecasts and predictions.
Build information entities and data sets, extract and structure data using specialized analytics tools and use it to analyze opportunities / problems defined by the business and analyze the extracted data to come up with inferences.
Adapt standard / summary reports and executive level presentations to direct business strategy like Power BI solutions.
Responsible for analytics assignment, from data and business value exploration. Extract and structure data using specialized analytics tools under general supervision.
Build expertise in data sources to find, manage and simplify complex data. Integrate data and product knowledge to build cases and convey insights.
Suggest improvement proposals, towards local and global organization. Generate user friendly reports and improve them.
Support the strategic roadmap for both analytics methods and the future tools and platform. Actively find new ways to support purchasing to improve existing data structure.
Contribute to solving some complex challenges in the areas of data mining and optimization.
Education Required:
University degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Statistics or Mathematics
SKILLS
Data analytics experience in automotive industry related to Purchasing and supply chain domain is an added advantage
Ability to use descriptive statistical methods (distribution, regression, classification, statistical tests)
Exposure to visualization tools, like Power BI/Tableau
Sharp analytic, logical mindset and effective problem solver with ability to translate business problems into technical challenges
Experience in years using Python/R and SQL
Creativity and innovative thinking reframing traditional patterns, applying new, evolving ideas, methods, designs and technologies
Experience in handling different data sources other than Excel
Exposer to machine learning and working in cloud platform like Azure
Experience of working in Agile methodology environment is preferred with ability to deliver concrete results with speed and strong collaboration skills
Ability to work in an environment were not everything will be framed from day 1 with good communication skills.
