JOB DESCRIPTION:

- As a Linguistic Tester, your primary responsibility will be to proofread and edit content that has already been localised to your native language, catching any errors such as grammar, typos, syntax, punctuation, capitalisation, political incorrectness, inconsistencies, and extra spaces between words or characters. You will occasionally be translating stuff from English into your native language. You will also be testing UIs for functionality issues.

– QA various goods by carefully following testing instructions and test cases.
– Identify and report flaws (bugs) using client-specific bug-tracking tools.
– Evaluate translations for software, mobile apps, and documentation.
– Be a subject matter expert for linguistic issues in the target language; be able to study and solve linguistic problems.
– Follow project-specific quality standards, trademarks, style guides, and client-approved checklists and glossaries.
– Troubleshoot simple difficulties and communicate effectively.

– Able to work onsite at the client’s office in Salarpuria Knowledge City, Hyderabad.
– Ability to work full-time, Monday through Friday, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
– Educational level:
-A bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from a college or university in a comparable discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
-Experience:
– Native-level or completely bilingual fluency (both spoken and written language) in the necessary language(s)
– Current understanding of common technical language usage in the target language.
– Proficient in both written and spoken English.
– Experience with Microsoft software (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint);
– Capability to explore networks and websites using various browsers.
– Basic understanding of PC hardware (desktop and laptop).
– Basic knowledge of smartphones (iPhone or Android).
