JOB DESCRIPTION:
A Data Analyst is one who collects, processes, and performs analyses on large datasets. They use that information to determine how data can be used to solve problems and answer questions. Using their technological expertise, they transform and manipulate large data sets to suit the desired analysis.

What you will do
- Collect, process, and clean data for multiple sources to prepare it for analysis
- Perform analyses of data to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies
- Use data visualization techniques to present information in a way that it is easy to understand
- Work closely with the team to understand their data analysis needs and deliver reports that meet those needs
- Develop and implement data collections systems, data analytics, and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality
- Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets
- Help prioritize business and information needs
- Identify and define process improvement opportunities
- Maintain data systems – ensure data integrity, quality, efficiency
- Calculate key business metrics
- Create dashboards and reports
- Interpret data
- Build internal website/knowledge base
- Problem solving
- Interpret data sets
- Use data evaluation to identify substandard business processes
Education Required:
- A college degree in computer science, information management, statistics, or a related field
- Working experience as a Data Analyst or Business Data Analyst

- Strong knowledge of and experience with reporting packages and databases
- Adept at queries, report writing, and presenting findings
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
- Experience with data analysis and reporting, dashboard and wiki creation, knowledge base creation
- Communication skills – speak and write clearly, easily communicate complex ideas
- Critical thinking – ability to look at the numbers, trends, and data, and draw new conclusions based on the findings
- Attention to detail – vigilance in analysis leading to correct conclusions
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast paced environment
- Strategic thinking and analytical skills
- Prior experience with a Procurement organization is preferred but not required
- Prior experience working with large multinational customers and partners
- Highly organized, process-driven and client-focused team player
- Fluency in English (spoken and written) is essential. Fluency in other European languages is highly desirable but not essential
- Technically sound
- Good interpersonal interaction skills
- Strong creative problem-solving abilities
