- Two Maharatnas, NTPC Limited and SAIL, have partnered to form NTPC SAIL POWER COMPANY LIMITED (NSPCL). NSPCL now operates three business units with an installed capacity of 1104 MW in Bhilai, Durgapur, and Rourkela. SAIL Units, the Union Territories of Dadra & Nagar Haveli, Daman & Diu, and Chhattisgarh State are all supplied with electricity by NSPCL. Furthermore, with a 530 MW solar development plan, NSPCL is also venturing into the green energy space.

PLACEMENT: The chosen applicants may be assigned to any project or station in India, including NSPCL subsidiaries or joint venture firms. SERVICE AGREEMENT BOND: In order to serve NSPCL for at least four years following their hire, the chosen applicants from the General category must sign a service agreement bond of Rs. 5,00,000 (Rs. 2,50,000 for candidates from the SC, ST, and PwBD categories). HEALTH: The applicant must be in good health. Candidates must have a medical examination at one of the NSPCL-notified, empanelled, or project hospitals prior to joining, and NSPCL’s decision is final and legally binding. Education Required:
A graduate degree in environmental engineering with at least 60% of the possible points, or a full-time postgraduate degree, diploma, or M.Sc. or M.Tech. in environmental engineering, science, or management with at least 60% of the possible points from an accredited university or institution.
Mechanical, electrical, electronic, civil, production, chemical, construction, or instrumentation full-time engineering degree from an accredited university or institute with at least 60% of the possible points, along with a diploma, advance diploma, or postgraduate diploma in industrial safety from the Central Labour Institute or Regional Labour Institute, Government of India.
SELECTION PROCESS
- All eligible candidates must take the online selection test, which is based in India. The Subject Knowledge Test (SKT) and the Executive Aptitude Test (EAT) are the two components of the online selection exam. Candidates must pass the Executive Aptitude Test (EAT) and the Subject Knowledge Test (SKT), respectively. Candidates will be selected for a personal interview based on their qualifications and the job requirements. Following the test, all selected candidates must receive a minimum of qualifying scores in the interview, if appropriate. The online selection test will account for 85% of the final selection, while the interview marks will account for 15%.
