Selection Process
The selection process for ECIL Apprentice Recruitment 2026 will be purely merit-based:
Shortlisting based on academic marks
GEA: BE/BTech consolidated marks
TA: Diploma consolidated marks
Document Verification at ECIL Hyderabad
Final selection based on merit order
No written exam or interview will be conducted.
Document Verification Requirements
Candidates shortlisted for verification must carry:
Signed application form with photograph
Proof of date of birth and identity
Educational certificates and mark sheets
Caste / EWS / PwD certificates (if applicable)
CGPA-to-percentage conversion certificate (if applicable)
Education Required:
Age Limit (as on 31 December 2025)
Maximum Age: 25 years
Age Relaxation:
SC / ST – 5 years
OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) – 3 years
PwD (40% and above disability) – 10 years
Educational Qualification & Eligibility
Graduate Engineer Apprentice (GEA)
BE / BTech in relevant engineering discipline
Degree must be completed on or after 1 April 2023
Qualification must be from an AICTE-approved institution or recognized Indian university
Diploma Apprentice (TA)
3-year Diploma in relevant engineering branch
Diploma completed on or after 1 April 2023
