JOB DESCRIPTION:
Examine potentially offensive and contentious videos (which may contain graphic or violent content) in accordance with YouTube’s Community Guidelines.
As a member of the Trust and Safety organization’s Hyderabad Content Specialist team, uphold YouTube’s content regulations and guarantee excellent policy enforcement.
Handle content policy escalations while maintaining excellent enforcement, lucid written correspondence, and policy analysis.Provide content review findings that inform future advancements in policy and enforcement operations.

What you will do

- You will make sure we meet performance targets for delicate and prompt escalations of potentially dubious content in your role as a content specialist. In order to make sure that problems are prioritized and that the appropriate parties are involved in their resolution, you will oversee the worldwide response to these escalations and employ a range of tools, communications, and facilitation techniques. In addition, you will assist in testing new systems, procedures, and infrastructure to handle escalations and provide feedback on where we should focus our next efforts. Additionally, you will examine the incident data to look for patterns, effects, and potential enhancements. In accordance with YouTube’s Community Guidelines, you will evaluate graphic, contentious, and occasionally offensive video content in this capacity.

Minimum requirements:
a bachelor’s degree or comparable real-world experience.
expertise in cybersecurity, policy, data analytics, trust and safety, or similar domains.Preferred credentials:
Excellent investigative abilities, including utilizing data to inform strategy and commercial action, and familiarity with SQL and spreadsheets.
expertise in online content review, anti-abuse, and content policy. seeing patterns of abuse or working in news or policy with an interest for global concerns, such as cybercrime, online content controversy, freedom of expression, etc.
Outstanding business acumen, along with communication and persuasion abilities, time management, organization, and attention to detail.
outstanding troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities along with a strong desire to learn.
