What you will do

- Any skills related to the role

- Help with the planning, creation, and upkeep of ETL/ELT pipelines while being supervised by the senior data engineer. To expedite data processing, assist in automating workflows and integrating various data sources.
  Support the maintenance and optimization of our AWS infrastructure (S3, EC2, RDS, Redshift), ensuring secure and efficient data storage and retrieval.
  Help with maintaining Databricks clusters, enhancing Spark job efficiency, and resolving problems to guarantee dependable and seamless data processing.
  Participate in the execution of data governance procedures to guarantee the highest levels of data security, quality, and integrity on all platforms.
  To deliver clean, trustworthy data for machine learning models, analytics, and business reporting, collaborate closely with data scientists, analysts, and other team members.
  Assist in keeping up-to-date, thorough documentation of the architecture, governance procedures, and data pipelines for the team.

Education Required:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).

skills

a working knowledge of Spark and other data tools, as well as AWS services (such as S3, EC2, and Redshift) and Databricks.
A basic understanding of SQL and proficiency in Python or Scala programming are required.

strong analytical spirit and the capacity to diagnose and fix technical problems in settings involving data processing.
a proactive approach to picking up new skills, especially in data governance, cloud computing, and big data.
Nice to Have

knowledge of business intelligence (BI) tools, such as Looker, PowerBI, or Tableau, to facilitate reporting and data visualisation.
