As an Executive Trainee in Human Resources, selected candidates will:
Handle recruitment, training, and employee engagement activities.
Implement HR policies, labor laws, and industrial relations.
Support organizational development and performance management.
Work across NTPC units nationwide in people management functions.
Education Required:
Educational Qualification
Post Graduate Degree/Diploma in Management with specialization in HR/Personnel Management/Industrial Relations.
OR MBA in HR / Master of Social Work (MSW) with HR specialization.
Minimum 65% marks (55% for SC/ST/PwBD candidates).
Limit on Age (as of August 26, 2025)
EWS/General: No more than 29 years
32 years old, OBC (NCL)
SC/ST: 34 years
PwBD: Extra relaxation in accordance with standards
Procedure for Selection
The online written test (CBT) is based on aptitude and HR topics.
Group Discussion (GD): To evaluate leadership and communication abilities.
The last stage of the selection process is the personal interview (PI).
The final merit list is determined by the performance at every level.

SC, ST, PwBD, former military personnel, and female candidates are exempt.
