In 2020, we began by developing a platform for screening candidates that allows employers to assess applicants based on the skills that are most important for a position. Our main priority right now is developing and growing this platform, but we’re not done yet—we still have a long way to go before we can help everyone land their ideal job. We plan to introduce additional products that further this goal in the future.

What you will do

creating and carrying out a thorough data strategy in line with TestGorilla’s corporate goals.
assuming responsibility for all internal and external data governance and processes,
guaranteeing data availability, understanding, and a single source of truth.
establishing and managing a remote data team and cultivating a climate of cooperation, creativity, and ongoing development.
fostering professional development by offering team members mentorship and direction.
constructing and managing a solid data infrastructure to support the development of data products and enterprise-wide analytics and reporting.
utilizing cutting-edge analytics tools to extract insightful data that informs strategic choices.
working together with cross-functional teams to comprehend data requirements and match business objectives with efforts in ML/AI, analytics, data science, and product development.

Education Required:

Proven experience in a leadership role overseeing and building data teams.
Strong background in data management and analytics.
Experienced in remote team management.
Proficiency across the data tool stack, incl. data warehouses, data modeling tools, ETL tools, and BI tools.
Familiarity with programming languages (e.g., Python, R) and SQL.
Experienced leadership and team management skills with clear communication and interpersonal abilities, particularly in a remote working environment.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Appetite to operate at 30,000 ft while also, at times, rolling up your sleeves.
Experience enabling ML models.
