The Visakhapatnam Port Authority (VPA) has announced 58 Apprenticeship vacancies for 2025. Engineering graduates and diploma holders are invited to apply online during the application window from 01 November 2025 to 30 November 2025.

Stipend/Pay Matrix: around ₹8,000–9,000 per month

Selection Criteria: Verification of the certificate and the total score on the qualifying exam
Education Required:
Graduate Apprentice: 27 posts – requires engineering degree (B.Tech / B.E)
Technician Apprentice: 31 posts – requires relevant engineering diploma
Eligible candidates will be shortlisted on merit basis. Preference given to children of Port Authority employees (deceased/medically invalidated/serving) in respective categories.
Age limit and other conditions will apply as per Apprenticeship Rules.

Merit (total marks) in the applicable qualification (degree/diploma) shall be the only factor used to create the shortlist.
Candidates who make the short list will have their certificates verified.
Following verification, the final list will be created by category (General, SC, ST, and OBC).
There is no mention of a written test or interview (unless otherwise noted in a later update).
