Non-ITI Candidates: Must have passed 10th Class (Matriculation) with minimum 50% aggregate marks.
ITI Candidates: Must have passed 10th Class with 50% marks and possess NCVT/SCVT recognized ITI certificate in the relevant trade.

Selection Process
The BLW Apprentice selection process is completely based on merit:
Marks obtained in Class 10 (High School) are considered.
No written exam or interview.
For ITI applicants, only eligibility is verified—marks aren’t counted in merit.
Tie-Breaker: Older candidate gets preference; if same age, earlier passing year is considered.
Final selection is subject to Document Verification and Medical Fitness.
