In order to fill the positions of Junior Accounts Officer (Category II), Senior Accountant (Category III), and Junior Accountant (Category IV) in the A.P. Municipal Accounts Subordinate Service, the Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC) has published Notification No. 27/2025.

Written Test (Type of Objective)
150 marks for Paper I: General Studies & Mental Ability
Paper-II: Accounting, Cost and Management Accounting, Statistics, Information Technology, and Auditing (Commerce) – 150 points
300 marks in total.
Negative marking: one mark for each incorrect response.
100 points on the Computer Proficiency Test (CPT) (qualifying in nature)
Pattern of the Exam Paper, Subject Questions Marks for Duration I 150 150 minutes for General Studies & Mental Ability 150 150 150 minutes for II Commerce (Core Subject) 150 150 minutes for 150 300
Application Processing Fee: ₹250; Examination Fee: ₹80; Total Fee: ₹330; Exempted Categories: SC/ST/BC, PwBD, Ex-Servicemen, White Card Holders, and Unemployed Youth (AP residents only)
Education Required:
For All Posts: Must possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce from a recognized university.
Candidates must also qualify in the Computer Proficiency Test (CPT) as per G.O.Ms.No.26, GA (Ser-B) Dept., dated 24.02.2023.
Age Limit (as on 01.07.2025)
Minimum Age: 18 years
Maximum Age: 42 years
Age Relaxation:
SC/ST/BC: 5 years
PwBD: 10 years
Ex-Servicemen: 3 years + length of service
AP State Government Employees: up to 5 years
Widows & Divorced Women (as per rules): up to 43/48 years
