JOB DESCRIPTION:
Perform initial hardware diagnostics and install layered goods as necessary. 0–1 year of remote infrastructure management expertise
• Proficiency with virtualization tools and features
• Be accountable for SLA compliance; • Have familiarity with security patching protocols; • Be able to communicate clearly and effectively, both orally and in writing, with all team members and stakeholders.
• Basic understanding of the ITIL process
• Install and configure Linux servers and systems, frequently for distribution throughout the whole company.
• Set up certain apps in accordance with the specifications in the run book.
• Carry out regular system upkeep and address server-side problems as they appear.
Installing and maintaining agents on servers for centralized monitoring and control; upgrading operating systems and applications; migrating servers to new environments; maintaining security and OS patch management for Linux-based systems;
• • Ansible or comparable tool experience is preferred.
• Oversee and preserve Linux-based operating systems (OS) in both virtual and physical settings, as well as those that are currently supported.
• Make use of Linux scripting (PowerShell, Bourne, PERL, BASH, etc.) to streamline and automate duties related to system administrators.
• Update software and hardware while working with MPs to minimize L1 Level interruptions and guaranteeing milestone compliance.
• Willingness to work rotating shifts around the clock
