JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Indian citizens who meet the following requirements and other eligibility requirements as of April 1, 2025, are encouraged to apply online in order to select qualified applicants for appointment to 20 Junior Court Assistant-cum-Junior Programmer (Group “B” Non Gazetted posts) and 6 Senior Court Assistant-cum-Senior Programmer (Group “B” Non Gazetted posts) in the Supreme Court of India Registry. Please take note that the number of openings may vary depending on demand.

The applicant must be older than eighteen but younger than thirty.
According to current government regulations, candidates who are SC, ST, OBC, PH, or ex-servicemen, as well as those who fall under the Freedom Fighter category as dependents, are eligible for the usual age exemption. For qualified staff members employed by the Supreme Court of India Registry, there will be no upper age restriction. Candidates who are employed by other government departments or public sector organizations will not be eligible for the reduction of the upper age limit.
For both positions, eligible candidates must apply online individually; the link will be available on the Supreme Court website, www.sci.gov.in. Each post will only accept applications submitted through online registration. In addition to bank fees paid online only, candidates must pay a non-refundable application/test fee of Rs. 1000 for General/OBC candidates and Rs. 250 for SC/ST/Ex-Servicemen/Differently Abled/Dependent of Freedom Fighter candidates. No other type of payment will be accepted. Applications submitted via mail will not be accepted. The cost must be paid online via the UCO Bank payment portal.

4. Interview The chosen applicants will be placed in order of merit following their successful completion of the required exams and interview. The candidate should be aware that being placed on the panel does not provide them the authority to apply for positions as junior court assistant-cum-junior programmer or senior court assistant-cum-senior programmer.
Five cities—Delhi/NCR, Mumbai, Kolkata, Hyderabad, and Bengaluru (Bangalore)—will host the tests. Candidates will be able to choose any two cities in their order of choice. Candidates should be aware that, for administrative reasons, they might be moved to a different city, except the one they have selected.
