- The Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR), an autonomous body under the Ministry of Science and Technology, Government of India, owns the prestigious CSIR-National Aerospace Laboratories (CSIR-NAL), Bengaluru. CSIR-NAL has a robust civil aviation program, which includes the design and development of a multirole light transport aircraft (SARAS), a nationally significant project. Additionally, CSIR-NAL is investigating a number of aircraft technologies for potential spin-off industrial uses. It features first-rate facilities in every area of aerospace. There are two steps in the selection process: Stage I and Stage II. Candidates who have been nominated or shortlisted by the properly established Screening Committee will be invited to a Trade Test in Stage I. In order to shortlist the candidates for a Trade Test, the Screening Committee will establish its own standards. Those who pass the trade test will be invited to the next round, where they must take the competitive written exam, which consists of Papers I, II, and III. Only applicants who receive the requisite threshold scores (to be decided by the Selection Committee) in Paper I will be evaluated for Paper II and Paper III.
Education Required:
SSC, 10th Standard, or equivalent with Science subjects, with at least 55% of the possible points, and an ITI certificate or a national or state trade certificate in Fitter OR SSC, 10th Standard, or equivalent with Science subjects, with at least 55% of the possible points and two years of full-time apprenticeship training from an accredited institution in the trade OR SSC, 10th Standard, or equivalent with Science subjects, with at least 55% of the possible points and three years of work experience in the trade in a Ministry, Department, Organization, Public Sector Undertaking, or Autonomous Body under the Government of India, State, or UT.

- Application Fee: Candidates must use SB Collect to pay a non-refundable application fee of ₹500/- (Rupees Five Hundred only) for each post code, if applicable. Candidates who are SC, ST, PwBD, women, or former service members are not required to pay the application cost. A candidate may submit more than one application as long as they meet the requirements for each position. Candidates must, however, complete the application form for each position separately, providing the necessary application fee, certifications or documents, NOC, etc.
