India Post New Franchisee Scheme 2.0 2026: The Department of Posts, Ministry of Communications, Government of India, has introduced the New Franchisee Scheme 2.0 to expand postal booking, pickup and delivery services across the country.
According to the Office Memorandum dated 11 December 2025, the new scheme came into effect from 1 January 2026. The scheme introduces revised operational processes and uses the APT 2.0 technology platform for franchisee operations.

The security deposit depends on the activities selected by the franchisee.
