In your role as a News Analyst, you will be essential to our algorithm training efforts, assisting in the identification of factors that matter to our clients. You will be on the front lines of breaking news, drawing on your enthusiasm for technology, social media, and online content.
Who You Are:
You are a driven professional with skills in mass communications, copy editing, journalism, or comparable work. You flourish in a fast-paced setting and possess a strong interest in real-time data analysis and quality assurance.
Key Responsibilities:
Track and examine real-time data across various datasets
Spot and look into errors in news alerts and captions
Verify information against social media posts for accuracy, completeness, and factual correctness
Compose and revise captions for social media posts
Review and programmatically enforce business rules for data validation
The purpose of QA algorithmic work is to enhance the quality of the dataset output
Remain current on new policies, processes, and procedures that affect the QA workflow
Adjust rapidly in a constantly evolving environment

Concerning the Role:

You will be an integral part of our algorithm training process as a News Analyst, helping to identify aspects that are significant to our clients. Using your love of technology, social media, and online content, you will be at the forefront of breaking news.

Principal Duties:

Track and evaluate data in real time across several datasets.
Find and look at mistakes in news alerts and captions.
Verify the accuracy, completeness, and factual correctness of material by cross-referencing it with posts on social media.
Create and modify social media post captions.
For data validation, audit and apply business rules programmatically.
The purpose of QA algorithms is to enhance the output quality of the dataset.
Keep abreast of any changes to policies, procedures, or processes that affect the QA workflow.
Quickly adjust to a new environment

Education Required:

Degree in Journalism, Communications, English, Political/Social Sciences, or related fields
Expertise in mass communications, copy editing, journalism, or similar assignments

Outstanding communication skills, both in writing and speaking
