Education Required:
1. Educational Qualification
Candidates must have passed Matriculation (10th class) or equivalent from a recognized board.
The candidate should possess a domicile certificate of the state/UT for which they are applying.
Knowledge of the local language of the applied region is mandatory.
2. Age Limit
Upper Age Limit: 27 years as on the cutoff date (to be mentioned in the notification).
Age Relaxation:
SC/ST – 5 years
OBC – 3 years
PwD – 10 years
Ex-Servicemen – as per Government of India norms
Selection Process
The recruitment process for IB Security Assistant consists of three stages:
🔹 Tier-I: Objective Type Test (100 Marks)
Duration: 1 Hour (60 Minutes)
Total Questions: 100 (MCQs)
Subjects:
General Awareness
Quantitative Aptitude
Logical/Analytical Reasoning
English Language
Negative Marking: 0.25 marks deducted for each wrong answer
🔹 Tier-II: Skill/Descriptive Test
Security Assistant/Executive:
Practical Test on motor mechanism
Driving skill test for relevant candidates
Other Candidates:
Descriptive English Test (50 Marks)
May include letter/essay writing
🔹 Tier-III: Interview & Verification
Shortlisted candidates from Tier-II will undergo a personality test/interview followed by document verification.
Final merit list will be based on performance in Tier-I and Tier-II combined.
