JOB DESCRIPTION:
In order to fill openings in the 15-bed Drug De-Addiction Centers at Area Hospital Bapatla and Area Hospital Narasaraopeta, which are under the jurisdiction of DCHS, the former Guntur District, the Government of Andhra Pradesh, Health Medical & Family Welfare Department, has released the AP Health Department Recruitment Notification 2025 (No.02/2025 dated 25.08.2025).
These positions will be filled by outsourcing or contracting. Applications are accepted from September 3, 2025, until September 16, 2025.

Education Required:
Age Limit:
General: Up to 42 years (as on 31.07.2025)
Relaxations: SC/ST/BC/EWS – 5 years, Ex-servicemen – 3 years + service, PwBD – 10 years (Max: 52 years).
Educational Qualification (Post-wise):
Doctor: MBBS with registration (must undergo training by MOSJE/NISD within 3 months).
Coordinator: Graduate + 3 years’ experience in managing centres + computer knowledge.
Nurse (ANM): Qualified & trained ANM from recognized institution.
Ward Boy: 8th pass (preferably with experience).
Counselor / Social Worker / Psychologist: Graduate in Social Sciences (preferably Social Work/Psychology) + 1–2 years’ experience.
Accountant Cum Clerk: Graduate with accounting & computer knowledge.
Peer Educator: Literate, ex-drug user (1–2 yrs sobriety), willing to work in rehabilitation.
Chowkidar: 5th pass + able to ride bicycle.
House Keeping Worker: Able to read/write in Telugu.
Yoga/Dance/Music/Art Teacher: Minimum 3 years’ experience.

🔹 Selection Procedure
Mark-Based Merit:
90% weighting is based on the total scores from the qualifying exam.
Years since passing qualifying account for 10% of the weight (1 mark every year, maximum of 10 marks).
