Education Required:

  • Graduate Level: Any Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized university.

  • Undergraduate Level: 12th Pass (+2 Stage) or equivalent.

  • Typing Proficiency: Must have typing skill in Hindi/English on computer.

Age Limit

  • Graduate Level: 18–36 years

  • Undergraduate Level: 18–33 years

  • Age relaxation as per government norms (OBC – 3 years, SC/ST – 5 years, PwBD – 10 years).

Selection Process for Graduate Positions:

Train Manager for Goods => CBT 1 + CBT 2

CBT 1 + CBT 2 + CBAT -> Station Master

CBT 1 + CBT 2 + Typing Skills Test for Senior Clerks and JAA Typists

CBT 1 + CBT 2 -> CCTS

Selection Process for Undergraduate Positions:

Junior Clerk, Accounts Clerk → Typing Skill Test + CBT 1 + CBT 2

Clerk for Trains and Tickets => CBT 1 + CBT 2

The CBT 1 exam pattern (90 minutes, 100 marks)

40 General Awareness

30 in mathematics

Reasoning & General Intelligence: 30

CBT 2 (120 marks, 90 minutes)

50 General Awareness

35 in mathematics
