JOB DESCRIPTION:

- The candidate setup relationships with Sales, Account Managers, Compliance, Engineering, etc. to rapidly drive the Onboarding process forward.
- the analyst is responsible for conducting an investigative review and analysis of the client’s application in support of Coinbase’s KYC /AML regulatory compliance policies and program including automated alerts, reviewing required documentation and information supplied and gathered to determine accuracy.
- Analysts are considered SMEs in industry standards and pioneers of developments in the areas of KYC, BSA/AML, and OFAC

What you will do

- Show expertise in working with client and analysing client responses, providing required documentation and KYC information and conduct due diligence review in support of detailed Coinbase processes, norms and procedures
- Stay updated with industry norms and with industry standards and improvements in the areas of KYC, BSA/AML, and OFAC, and excercise regulatory requirements and internal policies and procedures to case investigations.
- Align with comprehensive stakeholders, including relationship managers, legal counsel, and regulatory authorities, to facilitate the onboarding of institutional clients and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Perform holistic KYC and AML reviews on institutional clients.
Education Required:
- B.A./B.S. degree or equivalent.
- Knowledge in KYC / AML / EDD background within the financial services industry, with a focus on institutional client onboarding.

- Awareness of Governing laws, regulations, and guidelines (e.g., BSA, OFAC, FinCEN guidance)
