JOB DESCRIPTION:
We are looking for a Data QA Associate to join our team in India and take charge of a significant share of the data cleaning and quality assurance work for this product. In this role as a Data QA Associate, you will turn raw financial and accounting data into precise insights about business expenses. Your duties will include reviewing transactions and accounting records, confirming expense categories, spotting problem cases, digging into the root causes of data issues, and helping refine the rules and processes that keep data quality high.
You will collaborate with an outstanding engineering team and data team based in the U.S. and China. You will carry out most of your work using data within our proprietary software. This role provides a chance to make a meaningful contribution to our company’s growth. Employees who perform exceptionally well may have the chance to be promoted and lead a team of other Data QA Associates.

What you will do

Education Required:
- Bachelor’s degree or above. Majors in Accounting, Finance, Business, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field are preferred.
- 0–2 years of hands-on accounting or bookkeeping experience, including relevant internship experience.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Good Fluency in English
- You are a bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of work experience

- You should have strong attention to detail
- You must have sound knowledge of Microsoft Office and Google applications
- You need to have excellent written and verbal communication skills
- You are able to meet deadlines and work under pressure
- Knowledge of data cleaning, tagging, or Regex
Proficiency in overseeing several concurrent processes
Proficiency in Excel, SQL, or Python and a basic understanding of data analysis are advantageous.
knowledgeable about accounting standards, capable of differentiating between the company’s accounting categories, and able to comprehend the company’s accounting records; ideally, with expertise with popular ERP systems like NetSuite, Ramp, or QBO.
Outstanding critical thinking, problem-solving, and attention to detail skills
the capacity to collaborate with a remote team while working solo.
Strong English communication skills both in writing and speaking, with the capacity to communicate with internal teams and vendors across time zones and cultural boundaries
